  Conclusion
Dodging and burning are two important techniques that you can use as a photographer when editing images. Dodging brightens areas of an image and burning darkens areas you want to push away from the lens. In this chapter, instructor Kristina Sherk gives an overview of what dodging and burning are, and demonstrates how to do both.
